Black cherry, dark chocolate
Mrs. Sonia Morán has long, carefully and responsibly chosen to sell the beautiful coffee farm she inherited from her parents, FINCA LA ESPERANZA, located in the mountain reserve of the Santa Ana region in the northwest of the country. A meeting with Alfredo Pacas Diaz and his son Juan Alfredo Pacas Martinez was crucial.
Since 2010, Finca La Esperanza has been owned by the producers of Cafe Pacas. In 2012, after a leaf rust attack, the farm underwent an intensive replanting process. Pacas farmers turned the disaster into a new opportunity, and this time Finca La Esperanza has been transformed into a garden for growing a variety of coffee varieties.
Finca La Esperanza is divided into 18 "tablones" where varieties - Pacas, Red Bourbon, Pacamara, Orange Bourbon, Kenya, Ethiopian Heirloom, Mokka, Bernardina - are picked and processed separately.
