Wildan Mustofa's idea to grow coffee in the village of Sindangkertos was met with great scepticism in 2010. Palm sugar was then the mainstay of livelihoods here, with many leaving their families and homes behind in the city.
Slowly but surely, an ambitious farmer put his coffee plan into action, and today Sindangkerta is home to Wildan JAVA FRINSA ESTATE's most important plantation. The processing mills and well-ventilated warehouses are located on the farm itself.
Wildan is a true master, practising a wide range of processing techniques, very attentive and discerning to all the processes of coffee farming, and both he and his wife are award-winning, renowned farmers of the region.
